David Gibbins

David Gibbins
Executive Chairman, Board of Directors
Mr. Gibbins spent 27 years with the Royal Bank of Canada, retiring in 2003. At the time of his retirement, Mr. Gibbins was a member of the Executive Committee of RBC Capital Markets, the investment banking arm of the Royal Bank of Canada, and a member of the Operating Committee of RBC Global Markets, with responsibility for a number of its businesses worldwide. Mr. Gibbins served as an advisor to a number of Central Bank Advisory Boards, namely the Bank of Canada, the European Central Bank and the Bank of England. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Genworth Mortgage Insurance Corporation Canada, Greenfield Financial Group and CERTIF Media. He is also actively involved with EVA’s Initiatives, a charity that works collaboratively with homeless and at-risk youth. Mr. Gibbins is the recipient of Rotary International’s Paul Harris Fellow Award. He holds a bachelor of commerce from Concordia University in Montreal and resides in Mississauga, Ontario.

Phil Richardson

Phil Richardson
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Richardson is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PCAS, responsible for the development and execution of the firm’s business strategy, including the company’s day-to-day operations. Prior to joining PCAS Mr. Richardson was President of Pro Oil Management Inc., a high-growth Canadian services company. He was Commercial Director of Viridor-Richardson Ltd. in the U.K., a division of Pennon Plc. Prior to the acquisition of Viridor-Richardson Ltd. by Pennon Plc, he served as the company's CEO for 12 years.

Dana Tunks

Dana Tunks
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Tunks serves as the company's Chief Financial Officer, overseeing all financial reporting, treasury, corporate finance, taxation and risk-management activities. Prior to joining PCAS, she was a Senior Partner with Ernst & Young LLP. She has had a number of senior leadership roles within the audit and advisory practices, including being the Canadian practice leader for Business Risk Services. Ms. Tunks is a Chartered Accountant and received her honours bachelor of business administration from Waterloo, Ontario’s, Wilfrid Laurier University.

Loreto Grimaldi

Loreto Grimaldi
Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Secretary
Mr. Grimaldi serves as the company’s Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Board Secretary, overseeing all legal aspects of the company’s global business initiatives. He is also currently responsible for Human Resources matters for the company. Previously, he was Vice-President (Law) at Symcor Inc., a Canadian-based international technology and BPO services company, where he was responsible for the commercial legal team and international expansion. Mr. Grimaldi spent seven years at Stikeman Elliott LLP, specializing in corporate, intellectual property, outsourcing and M&A matters. Mr. Grimaldi has extensive experience in the healthcare/pharmacy industries in Ontario, having advised pharmacies and other healthcare service providers. Mr. Grimaldi holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s of Business Administration from Toronto’s Schulich School of Business, and an LLB from the University of Western Ontario. Mr. Grimaldi is fluent in French and Italian, and is an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at the Schulich School of Business.

 

Gerald Gradwell

Gerald Gradwell
Chief Corporate Development and Corporate Affairs Officer
Mr. Gradwell supports the CEO in drawing up and delivering the corporate expansion strategy for the firm; assists the Vice-Chairman as Executive Vice-President, Investor Relations, and co-ordinates the firm’s external messaging across the various corporate affairs functions (investor relations, government relations and public affairs). He joined the firm from Alliance Boots, Europe’s largest pharmacy operator and pharmaceutical distributor, where he was responsible for investor relations and worked directly for the Executive Chairman, alongside the global corporate development and strategy team. Prior to this Mr. Gradwell worked as a senior Investor and financial communications consultant, management consultant, investment banker and stock broker. He started his career as a broker at the London Stock Exchange and has experience in both investor relations and corporate development throughout Europe, the Americas, the Far East and sub-Saharan Africa. Mr. Gradwell is registered as a broker/securities officer in the U.K., Canada and the United States and is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute of the U.S., the Canadian Investor Relations Institute, the U.K. Investor Relations Society and is a Fellow of the U.K. Institute of Directors.

Luc Villeneuve

Luc Villeneuve
Chief Business Officer
Mr. Villeneuve oversees the management and development of performance- improvement strategies and sales expansion. Before joining PharmaTrust as Chief Sales Officer, Mr. Villeneuve was President of NCR Europe, managing a $1.5- billion business in Europe, including approximately 2500 FTEs, with personnel and partners in more than 25 European countries. This role encompassed the overall responsibility for customer satisfaction, sales for solutions and services, client services delivery and marketing, and the management of all aspects of NCR Business in Europe. Prior to managing Europe, Mr. Villeneuve was President of NCR Canada for a few years, where he turned around a non-performing business area of NCR. Before joining NCR, Mr. Villeneuve spent five years at Sun Microsystems Canada, as the Vice-President of Sales. During his career he has held senior executive sales and marketing positions at Digital Equipment Corp, BCE, GE Capital and CNC Global Limited. Mr. Villeneuve is bilingual and holds a business administration degree from Ottawa’s Algonquin College. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario's Marketing Management Executive Program in London and is a certified Six Sigma practitioner.

Steve Gesner

Steve Gesner
Chief Information Officer
Mr. Gesner leads the Technology group and is responsible for its overall direction. Mr. Gesner was previously employed as: Chief Technology Officer for TD Bank worldwide; Executive Vice-President and Chief Information Officer of Resolve Corporation. He was also a Member of the Board of Directors for the Ontario Smart Systems for Health Agency (SSHA, an agency of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the first organization to offer common IT products and services that allow healthcare providers across Ontario to quickly and securely share patient information.) Mr. Gesner is a former executive with Ford Motor Company of Canada and TD Financial Group and a former Board Member of the Canadian Payments Association.

 

james egan

James Egan
Chief Manufacturing and Drug Operations Officer
Mr. Egan leads the Company’s Global Drug Operations and Deployment Group and is also responsible for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain for the PharmaTrust MedCenters and other Product Lines. As a founder of CIMTEK Inc., he was responsible for strategic partnerships and alliance development as well as the firm’s technology and global marketing strategy. He began his career as a systems engineer with Hewlett Packard where he was acknowledged for several innovations and customer strategy development. Mr. Egan has a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario
